Anthony would like to share some exciting news from the parts department. On March 1st , we opened our east coast parts department in our Madison, Georgia facility. This addition will allow Anthony to provide better service to our east coast customers. The benefits for customers will include same time zone service, same day shipping for many of our standard stock parts items, and a freight cost savings when items ship from the Madison facility. Customers located on the east coast can call Madison for Anthony and Ardco replacement part needs. Luann Burroughs, our new Madison parts coordinator, has been in a customer service role in the case manufacturing industry for over 20 years, which means she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her new position. Anthony’s Haiti Relief program has generated over $6,000 for those devastated by the Port-au-Prince earthquake. Anthony employees have also donated over 470 pairs of shoes to Soles for Souls’ Haiti relief effort.

Anthony releases new "AI Smart Controller".

Anthony has announced the arrival of it's all-new, "AI Smart Controller."

Due to EISA specifications beginning January 1, 2009, customers have been burdened with the addition of energy controllers. The devices use technology to establish the proper amount of energy needed to prevent moisture from forming on glass refrigerator doors. The "Smart" controller meets EISA requirements as well as provide significant savings with this green product. At $30 per controller, "Smart" is an excellent way to remove the added costs associated with these energy-saving devices. We believe our customers will see the value in this new product offering.

BILINGUAL SAFETY MANAGER

Anthony is currently looking for a Bilingual Safety Manager for its Corporate Headquarters located in Sylmar, California.

The qualified candidate must have a minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing, glass industry experience is preferred.

BUYER

Anthony is the world’s largest manufacturer of specialty glass, commercial glass refrigerator and freezer doors, case lighting and display merchandising systems. We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Buyer at our Sylmar, California, manufacturing facility.

The successful candidate must have a proven track record of purchasing of raw materials, controlling inventory levels with acceptable limits to support production requirements and acting as a primary liaison between Anthony and its suppliers.

A BS or BA degree is preferred (or equivalent experience); 3-5 years experience in purchasing/inventory control, with experience in commodities; strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); good interpersonal skills and communication skills; experience working and interfacing directly with customers.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Anthony is the world’s largest manufacturer of specialty glass, commercial glass refrigerator and freezer doors, case lighting and display merchandising systems. We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer at our Sylmar, California manufacturing facility.

The successful candidate must have a proven track record of providing innovative design and development to help bring new products to market as well as providing production engineering solutions.

A BSME is required; 5-7 years experience in mechanical design and development; project management is a plus; strong modeling CAD experience, preferably with SolidWorks; experience with Element Analysis (FEA) and experience with thermal analysis; good interpersonal skills and communication skills; experience working and interfacing directly with customers.
